Mr. Naveen is a forestry and geospatial technology professional specializing in forest carbon dynamics, remote sensing, GIS, and spatial modeling. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Natural Sciences at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), Canada, where he studies the climate change mitigation potential of forest management in boreal landscapes.
His work combines forest ecology, carbon accounting, geospatial analysis, and nature-based climate solutions. He uses forest carbon models, remote sensing data, field inventory information, and spatial decision-support tools to assess forest management, restoration, conservation, land-use change, and ecosystem dynamics.
